This section contains the procedure for installing the IPMI interface driver on the installed system. In Review Mode: In the Review mode, download and install the IPMI interface driver. In Single Mode: In the single mode, download the IPMI interface driver and extrat the contents. In the single mode: By default, the IP interface for this system is connected to a serial device called Serial Port (COM4). To change this default, you can either change the device name held by the com port or the /dev/port_name. To change the name held by the com port, right click on the the system and select Properties. Select the Sharing tab and then click on Action. Select one of the options: Disabled Disabled until reboot Change to the name of a connected device
To change the device name held by the com port, right click on the system, select Properties and then click on the Device name tab. From the drop down list, select an available device name, where the available device names are listed in the Choose a device name dialog.
